With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Sanders (Carmel, Indiana), who passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sue had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sue may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Sanders; and her parents, Paul Smith and Zella Smith. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leppert Mortuary-Carmel Chapel (900 N Rangeline Rd, Carmel, IN 46032). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
