He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rail and Mary Rail (Griffin); and his siblings, John Rail (Toni), James Rail and Ann McGuire (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Judith Rail; his children, Harry Rail (Jina) of Indianapolis, Anna Maria Spurgin (Gary) of Greenfield and Eric Rail (Amanda) of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Bridgette Rail, Rebecca Gaw (Marshall), Logan Blackstone (Ethan), Harry Rail, Alex Rail, Griffin Spurgin, Eliza Rail, Max Rail, Madison Summers and Dylan Summers (Shelby).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Nativity Catholic Church (7225 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46239). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Scecina Memorial High School.
