She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lewis and Travie Lewis; her husband Randall L. Emerson; her siblings, Leona Dittmer (Bill), Emma Armstrong (Ray), Kenneth Lewis (Marjorie) and Olevia Ingle (Jack); her niece Kay Armstrong Edwards; and her nephew Denny Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Randall K. Emerson (Leslie), Curtis S. Emerson (Kimberlee), Laura L. Burkert (Matthew) and Eric S. Emerson (Robin); her grandchildren, Brian Emerson (Sara), Alaina Rejer (Brian), Annette Forrester, Evan Emerson, Makenzie Emerson, Matthew Burkert, Daniel Burkert, Samuel Burkert, Makailyn Burkert, Eric Emerson (Katie) and Whitley Duman (Jake); and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Charlotte, Natalie, Jameson, Tatum, Corabelle, Elsie, Maxine, Jacob and Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care West (5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Memory Gardens (6809 S Indianapolis Rd, Whitestown, IN 46075).
