He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burdette Lemmon and Winnie B. Whitis Lemmon Smith; his stepfather Gerald L. Smith; his brother John I. Lemmon; his son Jay K. Lemmon; and his stepsister Leeanne Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Janice S. Lemmon; his daughters, Jodi Robinson (Mark) of Terre Haute, IN, Jean Blankman (Larry) of Louisville, KY and Jill Lemmon (Eric Dockter) of Indianapolis, IN; his daughter-in-law Cindy Lemmon of Nineveh, IN; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Kylie Lemmon, Noah, Coleson, Alexa Blankman, Ian and Ryker Dockter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A masonic service will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Creekside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Christian School and Indiana Rainbow Girls Foundation through the funeral home.
