It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank Charles Bishop of Greenwood, Indiana, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bishop and Emma Mae Bishop (Yeager); his wife Jeanne Bishop (Ross); and his sisters, Clara Dalton and Josephine Samuels.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Smith (Garry) and Anita Dorrell (Stan); and his grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Jenna), David Smith (Jessica), Stephanie West (Robert), Ryan Dorrell (Katie), Kyle Dorrell (Abby Hudson) and Ross Dorrell (Megan). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Newton United Methodist Church (6843 Mendenhall Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46221).
