He was predeceased by: his father John Edward Shelton; and his brother John John. He is survived by: his mother Violet Edmonson; his siblings, Melissa Chapman (Steve), Kimberly Dawson, Chris Shelton and Mike Shelton; and his nieces and nephews, Emily LaShure (Nick), Lindsey Dawson (James McQuitty), Cory Micheal Chapman and Kyle Preston Chapman. He is also survived by five great-nieces and nephews.
