He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Cordelia Propes (Fansler) and Albert Denton Propes; his wife Patricia Grace Propes (Feldman); his son Joshua Denton Propes; and his siblings, Nancy Louise Spear, Shirley Vibbert, Nella Stewart, Michael, Boyd, Mac and Danny Ray Propes.
He is survived by: his son Richard Dale Propes of Indianapolis; his grandsons, Joshua Isaiah Propes, Denton James Propes and Jackson Albert Propes; his sisters, Becky Rhoton of Tompkinsville, KY and Patty Adams of Bowling Green, KY.; his daughter-in-law Cindy Propes; and his brother-in-law Robert Feldman (Judy). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bousley Funeral Home (4980 Milton St, Coatesville, IN 46121). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Clear Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Servants at Work (SAWS) in Indianapolis or TompKINDsville BOLO in Tompkinsville, KY.
