He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Johnson and Gwendolyn Johnson; his sisters, Gwendolen Johnson and Sonja Johnson; and his cousins, Connie Shoots and Cornelius Jarzis.
He is survived by: his fiancé Sandy Parrett; his children, Trey Johnson, Christian Johnson (Jazzlyn Atkins), Sue Martin (Patrick Barnett), Amber Parrett, Drew Parrett (Christa), Dave Martin (Emily) and Bobby Lowery; his cousins, Reggie Rembert, Gerald Fleming and Bridget Williams; and his grandchildren, Zyaire Johnson, Avonte Payne, Asia Payne, Amiyah Payne, Penelope Barnett, Presley Barnett, Payton Barnett, Finely Parrett, Lilly Parrett and Presley Parrett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
