It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Edward Grider of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grider and Tilda V. Grider (Anderson); his granddaughter Shelby Grider; his brother Earl Grider; and his son-in-law Phillip Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty G. Grider; his children, Barbara Anderson of Indianapolis, Randy Grider (Julie) of Rock Hill, SC and Robert Grider (Anita) of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Chris Anderson (Sarah), David Anderson (Becca), Paige Grider, Claire Grider, Lindsey Grider, Lauren Grider and Owen Grider. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Myers-Reed Chapel (3729 E 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
