She was predeceased by: her husband James Larry Grimes; and her parents, George M. Wilson and Helen Bjorck Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Kristofor X. Grimes and Julia X. Albertson (Rusty); her grandchildren, KJ Grimes, Scout Grimes, Jack Grimes, Dexter Albertson, Damon Albertson (Deisi), Grace Albertson and Sophie Albertson; and her sisters, Jean Greener and Janet Hanks.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Schafer Hall St. Mark Catholic Church (535 E Edgewood Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Water for Life, a missionary project led by her nephew and family in Africa (waterforlife.org) or to St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Indianapolis (stmarkindy.org).
