She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Southworth and Anne Pearl Southworth; her husband James Childress; and her son Michael Childress. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Speak and Kevin (Twila); her sister Maxine Beazley; her grandchildren, Kim Hunter (Mike), Jason Speaks (Angie), Shaun Childress (Collette), Melisa Holmes (Tony) and Jeremy Childress; and her son-in-law Don Speaks.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
