With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Misty Dawn (McElwee) Callahan of Evansville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She is survived by: her parents, Bob McElwee and Ginger McElwee (Johnson); her daughter Amanda "Bubba" Thompson (Juan) of Indianapolis, IN; her siblings, Scott McElwee of Evansville, IN and Sherry Minor (Brad) of Haubstadt, IN; her grandchildren, Haven Thompson, Cora "Coco Puff" Thompson and Juan Thompson, Jr.; her nieces, Whitney McElwee, Arica Gaines and Alexa Martinez; and her nephew Adam Minor. She is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
