We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, at the age of 74, Therese Squires (Indianapolis, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Therese has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayme Willoughby and Oie Willoughby; her granddaughter Stephanie Ann Cooper; her son-in-law Jerry Poe; and her siblings, Mary Willoughby and Robert Willoughby.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Squires; her daughter Margaret Shannon Poe; her grandson Stanley Cooper III; and her sister Laverne Wright. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services (1604 W Morris St, Indianapolis, IN 46221). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Calendar St. Anthony Catholic Church (277 N Warman Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Floral Park Cemetery (425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222).
