He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Wilhelm; his stepmother Virginia Wilhelm; his stepsister Vickie Wagoner; his grandparents, Alvin, Mary Harmeyer, Joseph and Corina Wilhelm; and his uncles, Richard and Nelson Harmeyer.
He is survived by: his father Thomas "Tom" Wilhelm of Osgood, IN; his wife Michelle Wilhelm of Indianapolis; his foster son Jeremy Richardson (Makaela) of Kentucky; his siblings, Nancy Noble of Greensburg, IN, Molly Negangard (Shawn) of Osgood, IN and Joe Wilhelm of Terre Haute, IN; his stepsiblings, Charles Teeters of Greensburg, IN and Michelle Barber (Brian) of Greensburg, IN; and his sister-in-law Sabrina Gibson (Matt) of Grayslake, IL. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (151 W George St, Batesville, IN 47006). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (3027 Pearl St, Oldenburg, IN 47036).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis—a cause close to Rick's heart.
