With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Reid Bonewitz of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on May 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Marie (Baker-Bonewitz-Alstedt) and Rev. Robert Hall Bonewitz; his sisters, Betty Jo and Marianne Bonewitz; and his brother-in-law Steve Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bonewitz (Ray-Webb) of Goshen; his siblings, Roberta K. Anderson (late Steve) of Leesburg, David P. Bonewitz (Anne) of Warsaw, Debora J. Ellis (Jim) of New Paris and Nancy E. Miller (Ken) of Bourbon; his children, Crystal J. Weatherton (Cory) of Goshen, Rachel H. Miller (Tyrone) of La Porte, Sarah R. Elledge (Chris) of Goshen, Jason P. Bonewitz (Gina) of Bristol and Grace M. Bonewitz of Middlebury; his stepchildren, Bryan T. Webb (Kim) of Hendersonville, TN, Colleen M. Wegener of Ionia, MI and Justin R. Webb (Dasha) of Carmel; and his grandchildren, Dillan, Anna (Tanner), Ella, Eliza, Avonlea, Novelle, Clinton, Halcyon, Olivia (Luke), Abigail, Isaac, Raegan, Faye, Evie, Jasen, Kody, Miya, Hannah, Melitta, Victoria, Colin and Braden.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parks Memorial Cemetery (600 S Bourbon St, Bourbon, IN 46504).
