He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette Catherine Hoefling of Evansville; his siblings, James Michael Lancaster, Stephen Nicholas Lancaster, Rosemary O'Daniel and Pamela Ruth Lancaster; and his daughter-in-law Elaine Lancaster.
He is survived by: his children, Randal Patrick Lancaster of Monroe, Connecticut, Lesa Lynn Tobin (William), Richard Alan Lancaster of Pensacola, Florida and Krista Ann Fox (Michael) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ryan Lancaster, Devin Lancaster, Meghan Lancaster, Mary Kate Lancaster Scofield (Charlie), Anna Lancaster Johnson (Tyler), Sara Lancaster Dixon (Cody), Patrick Tobin (Caroline), Preston Tobin (Katelyn), Miles Tobin, Reagan Fox Seay (George), Madeline Fox Bongi (Nicholas) and Molly Fox; and his great grandchildren, Rylan Dixon, Micah Dixon, Harper Johnson, Rosemary Scofield and Gemma Tobin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1301 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715). An entombment will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
