She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolland Allen and Leona Allen (Graham); her husband J. Paul Reed; her son Jim Reed; her brother Carrollee Allen; her great grandchild Lucas Marshall; her nephews, Tim Allen and Gary Allen; and her close friend Rovena Wiegert.
She is survived by: her son Rick Reed (Carole) of Cicero; her daughter-in-law Kim Reed of Alexandria; her grandchildren, David Reed (Francesca) of Deer Park, Lorri Bowman (TJ) of Prescott, Shelli Zehner (Zack) of Fort Wayne, Bre New (Ryan) of Muncie, Brooke Marshall (Shane) of Muncie, Anita Casterline (David) of Cicero, Scott Syverson (Lisa) of Carmel and Gara Syverson of Cicero; her niece Sherry Sigler (Tim); and her close friends, Frances Sizelove and Judy Ellingwood of Alexandria. She is also survived by 16 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Home (412 N Harrison St, Alexandria, IN 46001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Park View Cemetery (1101 S Park Ave, Alexandria, IN 46001).
