She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Zavodny and Dorothy Zavodny (Hodges); and her daughter-in-law Christina Blad. She is survived by: her husband John Blad; her children, Timothy Blad of Carmel, Indiana and Carrie Brady (Joe) of Lakewood, Colorado; her siblings, Susan Hughes (Jon) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Stephen Zavodny (Judy) of Traverse City, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Christa Blad, Stephen Blad, Jacob Blad, Andrew Brady, Ryan Brady, Blaine Ledbetter, Christian Ledbetter and Carter Ledbetter. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church (6318 W California Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fletcher Cemetery (700 E County Road 700 N, Hamlet, IN 46532).
