It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Marie McCarty of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John North and Donna North (Downs). She is survived by: her husband Greg; her children, James (Amber McCarty), Melissa McCarty (Robert Jennings) and Rachael Breedlove (McCarty); her grandchildren, Michael, McKenna, Nathaniel, Nicholas and Kenny; and her siblings, Allen (Laura North) and Mary (Tim Bowman). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (1028 Lafayette Ave, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
