It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Lee Wright in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Louise Wright (Heffner) and Forest Wright; and his wife Diana Jo Wright. He is survived by: his children, Shasta Richardson and Matt Richardson; his sisters, Susie Eskew and Jo Ann Holland; his grandchildren, Ciara Wright, Madison Richardson, Jaidan and Campbell Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Syre and Adler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary (1307 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Ernie's last act of kindness was donating his corneas and allowing two blind people the ability of sight.
