With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Risat Iqbal Husain (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Raza Husain; her husband Syed Iqbal Husain; her daughter Rubeena Siddiqui; and her siblings, Abid Husain, Nighat Baig and Nafeesa Begum.
She is survived by: her children, Shahnawaz Beg, Sajid Saghir (Najma), Shahnaz Qadeer (Qadeer), Tahir Nazir (Saba), Samina Ahmed (Zafar) and Syed Nadeem (Patricia); and her brothers, Nasir Husain (Shaheen), Sadiq Husain and Shamshulwara. She is also survived by grandchildren;34 sweet great-grandchildren; 11 precious great-great grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Masjid Ul-Hidayah (6620 Network Way, Indianapolis, IN 46278).
