He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ertel and Betty Ertel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Heather Drockelman of Asheville, NC, Robyn Werner (Bryan) of Greenwood, IN and Kathryn Barajas (Scott) of Carmel, IN; his grandchildren, Jackson Werner, Benjamin Werner, Elyse Barajas, Colin Werner and Graham Barajas; and his siblings, Joseph Ertel (Jean), Carol King (Jerry), Mary Lou Ertel and Andy Ertel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mystic Bay Clubhouse (7727 Mystic Bay Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46240).
