She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cletus and Jenny Cross (Griffith); her husband Donald D. Popplewell; her son Dennis Popplewell; and her siblings, Ralph, Kenny, Yvonne and Deborah.
She is survived by: her son Chad Popplewell (Shirley) of Anderson; her grandchildren, Katie, Sheila, Britney, Jennie and Marvin; and her brother Jay Cross of Indianapolis. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
