It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Jones of Avon, Indiana, who passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Phyllis may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Jones; and her children, Dennis Jones (Jean), Charles Jones (Amy), Kathryn Methe (Steve), Steve Jones and Kelly Chaffin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dickerson Funeral Home (303 N Main St, Veedersburg, IN 47987). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
