He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Cento and Fiorentina Cento (Giordano); his wife Kathryn Cento (Wurz); and his brother Giuseppe Cento. He is survived by: his children, Tina Gilbert (Jayson) and John Cento; his siblings, Mario Cento (Mitch), Lena Sharp and Carmela Morrison; and his grandchildren, Brittany Ratcliff (Dirk), Jordan Greenberg (Johnny), Stepanie Cento and Joey Garcia (Melanie). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and 24 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46225). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (89 N 17th Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to Holy Name Catholic School, 21 N. 17th Ave., Beech Grove, IN 46107.
