It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Ray Hein of Fishers, Indiana, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Herman Hein and Marie Hein (Reyelts); his former wife Judith Ann Hein (Panella); and his daughter Michelle Ann Hein. He is survived by: his wife Helen Hein (Battles); his daughters, Lisa Goode (David) and Amy Armstrong; his stepchildren, Danell Duff (Gary), Doug Dulin (Jennifer) and Darron Dulin (Teresa); his grandchildren, Kasey Hodges (AJ), Shanon Bannister (Justin), Jay, Benjamin and Daniel Armstrong; and his siblings, Herman Hein (Carol) and Karen Green (Mike). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care - Indianapolis Chapel (8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to dementia research (alz.org), in memory of Don Hein.
