He is survived by: his parents, Robert Zimmermann, Sr. and Rebecca Zimmermann (Anderson); his children, Anna (Indianapolis), Robby and Maxwell; his granddaughter Ellie Jane Zimmermann; his brother Mark (April); his nephew Jacob; his niece Samantha; and his uncles, Frank Zimmermann (Buzzy) and Phil Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1301 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715).
In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorial contributions be made to the IU Foundation to support the IU School of Medicine-Evansville Residency Fund in Psychiatry (give.myiu.org), in hopes of helping other facing similar struggles.
