We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, at the age of 87, Martha E. Mantooth of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Garland and Carrie Garland (Davis); her husband Donald Warren Mantooth; her siblings, Esther Shelby, Grace Bertrum, Mary Coleman, Joe Garland, George Garland, James Garland, John Garland and Mike Garland; and her stepson Sam.
She is survived by: her brother Lewis Garland (Mary Jane); her niece Crystal Bufford; her granddaughter Carla Guilmette; her great grandchildren, Joshua Fields (Rose), Ciera Hacker and Zachary Hacker; her great-nieces, Cheryl Hargraves (Ronnie) and Regina Horsley (Kevin); and her stepdaughters, Donna and Pam. She is also survived by 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Christian Tabernacle Church (802 S Franklin Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46239). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the New Crown Cemetery (2101 Churchman Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Christian Tabernacle School at 802 South Franklin Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46239 and the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
