It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Mae Kozak of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Parcell and Martha Parcell (Flicker); her spouse Casimer Kozak; her son Steven Casimer Kozak; her sisters, Carol Jean Parcell, Joanne Johnson and Evelyn Tschupp; her niece Mary Jones; and her close friend Ed Ginter.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Larry Kozak of Elkhart and Karen Orr (Steve) of Indianapolis; her niece Patty Yoder (Ron) of Goshen; and her stepgrandchildren, Angela Byers, Jessica Norris, Stephanie Kozak and Robin Kozak. She is also survived by 7 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (1331 N Main St, Elkhart, IN 46514). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
