With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melinda Ann Wallen of New Castle, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Perry and Lois Perry (West); and her sister Priscilla Spradlin. She is survived by: her children, Dakota Wallen of New Castle and Harlee King (Mark) of New Castle; her grandchildren, Addison, Archer King, Maverick Wallen and Leeland Richardson; her former husband Michael Wallen of New Castle; and her sisters, Carolyn King (Crandall) of Whitley City, Kentucky and Thelma Douglas (Starling) of Whitley City, Kentucky.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362).
