It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlin G. Everhart of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Freeman and Hazel Everhart (Peacock); his brothers, Dean Everhart and William "Wig" Everhart; his brother-in-law John Conner; and his grandsons, Bryce and Curtis.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Everhart (Nancy) of Shelbyville, Marlene Gerline (Greg) of Shelbyville, Carrie Jones of Fairland, Julie Lay (Bryan) of Indianapolis and Mary Kay Balish (Rob Wilson) of Indianapolis; his sister Linda Conner of Greenfield; his sisters-in-law, Linda Everhart of Greensburg and Joyce Everhart of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Victor, Nicholas, Sarah, Melissa, Geoff, Craig, Richard, Jordan, Natalie, Betsy and Jackson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Asbury Cemetery.
