It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Louise Hood of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brock Brokamp and Mildred Fay Louis Chris (Christopher); her significant other Steve Hood; her daughter Yvonne Toney; and her brothers, Richard and Denny.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Pat), Mike (Angie), Tim (Jami), Mitch (Celenda), Melissa, Robin and Lonnie (Casey); and her siblings, Chrissy, Paula and Jimmy. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel (2433 E Main St, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Acton Cemetery (7900 Acton Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46259).
