With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sondra Lee Poe of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eugene and Rosemary Golob (Grass); her husband Vernon Thomas Poe; her grandson Kyle; her siblings, Robert Golob Jr., Clyde Golob, Barbara Hendrick, Dorothy Golob, Alice Goddard, Donna Hooser and Mary Harms; and her son-in-law Chris Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Rizzi (Mark) of Bedford, Jenny Russell (Tony) of Greenwood and Janell Henry of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Courtney, Collin, Brittani, Hannah, Macey, Meggan, Nicholas, Morgan and Jakob; and her siblings, James Golob (Libby) of Greenfield, Betty Belschwender and Connie Purcell of Shelbyville. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service (4165 E Allison Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
