He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Smiley and Mildred Smiley. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Smiley (Dennis); his son Nathan; his daughter-in-law Laura Rollings; his daughter Jessica; his son-in-law Chris Bova; his grandchildren, Elio and Thea; his siblings, Sharon Cupit, Linda Porter and Thomas Smiley (Terry); and his pet Archie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care - Indianapolis Chapel (7520 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association (https://diabetes.org) and the Marion County Humane Society.
