She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold G. Boone and Lucy Fidelia Boone (Shields); her husband Joseph A. Vitt, Jr. of Louisville, KY; and her siblings, Sheldon G. Boone and Sherley Belcher.
She is survived by: her sons, David E. Vitt (Barbara) of Florida and Roger A. Vitt of Knightstown, IN; and her grandchildren, Tyler Vitt (Jessica) of Wyoming, Megan Rasikas (Ryan) of Florida, Bridget-Marie Mihalko (Darryl) of Michigan and Tessa Vitt of Colorado. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Goshen Cemetery (2433 W Old Goshen Rd SE, Laconia, IN 47135).
