She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. L. D. Payton and Dorothy Payton (Shearer); and her brother Rev. Dennis Payton. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Tammy Payton; her nephews, Rev. Andrew D. Payton (Leslie) and Rev. Daniel L. Payton (Sarah); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jayden Matheis, Paige, Ella, Emily, Carter and Luke Payton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (900 Indianapolis Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
