He is survived by: his wife Cindy Lu; his daughter Brandi Scott (Mark); his grandchildren, Austin, Rylan, Trey, Chloee, Kylee and Ricky; his great grandchild Aleya; and his siblings, Betty Emery (Charlie) and Ronald Strehlow.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home (5463 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46221).
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions in memory of Richard to Life's Journey Hospice 10241 E. County Road 100 North Avon, Indiana 46234.
