With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole J. Chittenden of Avon, Indiana, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carole may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Houghton and Dorothy Harlow Houghton. She is survived by: her husband Randy Chittenden; her children, Holly McNally (Charles) and Cory Johnson; her grandchildren, Brittney Hanlon and Bryndan Hanlon (Ashley); her great grandchild Harper Nichole Hanlon; and her sister Bonnie Reynolds (Ron).
