It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia M. Rexroat of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence R. Hylton and Lavina Jackson; and her brothers, Allen Hylton, Denny Hylton, Terry Hylton and Ronnie Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Ronette Spurgeon, Sherry McDowell and Tammy Rexroat; her grandchildren, Ashley Drake (Carl) and Briana Spurgeon (John); her great grandchildren, Khloe McKinney, Rylie and Asher Drake; her sister Debbie Pedzinski (Dan); and her nieces, Kimberly Hylton, Kelly Hylton, Darci Whitted (Austin) and Dayna Lemon (Anthony). She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins along with many great friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Center (9350 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rosie's Southside Animal Shelter, in Pat's memory.
