He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Susan Spence and Cindy Dougherty (Spence); his brother-in-law David Dougherty (Larry Spence); his siblings' children, Denise Dougherty Hoover (Matthew), Sean Dougherty (Christine) and Kami Flick (Samuel); his great-nephew Aiden Flick; his great-nieces, Norah and Ruth Dougherty; his uncle Joe Buchholz (Judy); his close friends, Lori Britton and Rick Britton; and also, Simon, Emily, Sophie and Christine Funkhouser.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
