He was predeceased by: his parents, George Adrian Wirtz and Dorothy Overholt (Walpole); and his brother George. He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Wirtz; his siblings, Jim Overholt, Rose Parkhill, Judy Robson, Marcia LeBrecht and Barbara Selvey; his stepsiblings, Mike Overholt, Ed Overholt, Bonnie Hobson and Paul Overholt; and his family John.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Roch Catholic Church (3600 S Pennsylvania St, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
