The memory of Bill Crane of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2025 at the age of 100, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, V. O. Crane and Irene Crane (Julian); and his brothers, Robert, Daniel, Ron, Philip and Timothy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beason; his children, Pamela Thompson (Mark) of Lafayette and Gary Crane (Holly) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Christopher Thompson (Kate) of Monticello, IN and Erin Steward (Joe) of Indianapolis; his great grandchildren, Tylar Thompson (Lori) of Normal, IL, Max and Olivia Steward of Indianapolis; and his great great grandchildren, Ollie and Lionel Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grady Funeral Home (111 E Monroe St, Williamsport, IN 47993). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Rainsville Cemetery (1498 E Hunter Hill Rd, Attica, IN 47918).
