It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Martin Darbutt of Brownsburg, Indiana, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Darbutt and Jessie Mae Darbutt (Crosley). He is survived by: his wife Charmaine Darbutt (Halley); his children, Brad Darbutt (Amanda) of Gibson City, IL and Breann Higgins (Chad) of Avon, IN; his grandchildren, Alexis Martin (Noah), Sydney Higgins and Royce Higgins; his great grandchild Weston Martin; his sisters, Helen Wenzel of Plainfiled, IN and Martha Krause of Brownsburg, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Halley (Becky) and Jody Wilson (Randy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthews Mortuary (690 E 56th St, Brownsburg, IN 46112). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calcutta Cemetery.
