He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerald Lee Sr. and Barbara May Manthei (Henry). He is survived by: his children, Jerald Lee G. Manthei (Joylyn Barwick) of Jason, S. D. and Jennifer Coker of South Carolina; his siblings, Richard Lynn Manthei of North Vernon, Steven Carl Manthei (Kathy) of Austin, Charles Eugene Manthei (Sue) of Indianapolis, Harold David Manthei of Phoenix, Arizona, Barbara JoAnn Cooper (Darryl) of New Palestine and Christina Louise Manthei of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Jerald of South Carolina, Jason Manthei of South Carolina, Brandon of South Carolina, Courtney Weaver of South Carolina and Zachery Barwick (Brooke) of South Carolina; and his great grandchild Reese Barwick of South Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at the Butlerville Cemetery (3765 475 E, Butlerville, IN 47223).
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Jerald through the funeral home to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
