In the sacred silence of farewell, Linda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Linda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Porter and Ester Porter (Petro); her husband Jack Arnold; her son Mark Deal; and her sisters, Doris Denny and Vickie Westlie.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Deal of Indianapolis, Jerry Deal (Jenny) of Indianapolis and Wendy Lewis (James) of Killeen, Texas; her brother Dennis Porter (Darlene) of Indianapolis; and her brother-in-law Arvid Westlie of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (39 E High St, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
