He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Perkins, Sr. and Nesala Brown (Smith); and his siblings, Eddie, Jack and Hazel Perkins.
He is survived by: his brother Jimmie Perkins, Jr.; and his nephew Tony Perkins. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and friends.
