He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert J. Neal and Esmer H. Neal (Wilson) of Indianapolis; his sister Lois Wilson Pollett; his former wife Edna Geraldine "Jerry" Neal (Cole); his great-uncle Curtis; his aunt Nettie Morgan (Neal); his nephew Steven Pollett; and his stepdaughter Karen Weaver.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Neal; his children, Pamela Diann Nelson (Tom) of New Albany, Ohio, Robert M. "Mickey" Neal (Lynn) of Madison, Indiana and Kip C. Neal (Sara) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his stepchildren, Fred Tandy (Tracy) of Madison, Indiana and Toni Olberding of Madison, Indiana; and his niece Marilyn Pollett Roberts. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Madison Christian Church (1400 E State Rd 62, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Madison Christian Church Building Fund.
