Ashcraft of Greenwood, Indiana, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ashcraft and Margaret Ashcraft (Noone). He is survived by: his wife Susan Ashcraft (Fuchs); his son Andy Ashcraft (Tiarra); his granddaughters, Adley, Ellington and Ivy; and his siblings, Mark Ashcraft and Kathy Whittaker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM at the St. Jude Family Life Center (5353 McFarland Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
