He was predeceased by: his parents, Don K. Shelburne and Alma Anniece Shelburne (Tharp); and his grandparents, Roy Herbert, Bessie Mae Shelburne (Engledow), James William and Mattie Estelle Tharp (Hughes).
He is survived by: his siblings, Dianna Hopper (Shelburne), Rebecca Moreland (Shelburne) and Julana (Stanley); his children, Brandi Nelson (Lee) and Joshua Lee (April); and his grandchildren, Mason, Ryker Nelson, Rowen, Alastair and Josie Lee. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care (125 W Sycamore St, Zionsville, IN 46077). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
