With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Richard Smith (Indianapolis, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Smith and Edith Smith-Stamm (Wagner); and his brothers, Jim, Kenny and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Brian (Sarah) and Stephen (Kerri); his grandchildren, Nathan, Isaac, Colby and Melodie; and his siblings, Mary Jane Loy (Dale), Ruth Ann Klinger and Marty (Candy). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
